Format:

 

  • Round 1 -(Day 1+Day 2) –Two Best Ball of Four Net and Gross (Dye Fore)
  • Round 2 (Day 3)-  Two Person Best Ball Net and Gross (Links)
  • Round 3 (Day 4+ Day 5) - Two best ball of Four Net and Gross (Teeth of the Dog)

 

Please note- Daily Low and Team Skins are awarded after each round and are paid out to the teams

 

Entry Fee: a Cash Fee of $200 per player will be collected at the Welcome Reception

Payout:

 

  • 15% will go to the overall Gross Winners
  • 15% will go to the overall Net Winners
  • 30% to the Course Low Gross – Team
  • 30% to the Course Low Net – Team
  • 10% to the Skins Game – Team skins after the play of each course

 

Teams may only win The Best Prize in the Overall Division

Ties, See below the process to break ties

  • A suden death playoff will take place for first place overall Gross and Net only.
  • The final round (Teeth of the Dog) will be used to break ties for daily prizes Gross and Net as well as overall second and third place- in the event of rain the last round played will be used to break the tie with the following method:Best final round, if still tied, Last 9, last 6, last 3, last 1, than 18 back to 1

 

In the event of a Rain Out -

If day 1 or day 2 of round 1 or 3 are rained out – the committee will change the format to be one best ball of 2. Please remember to post a score on each hole on day 1 of round 1 and 3. Nine hole scores will not be used for Round 1 or 3- If needed we will combine 9 holes from day 1 and day 2 of round 1 or 3 to complete an 18 holes score for the one best ball of two for round 1 and 3.

If we receive a rain out on the round 2 (Links), this round will be canceled. If all players finish the same 9 holes – these scores will be used.

If we experience a complete rain out of round 1, 2 or 3 the money will be distributed to the rounds we are able to complete and the committee will possibly pay out more places as it sees fit.

In the event all rounds are canceled due to rain – each person’s cash entry fee will be returned.

 

 

AMATEUR TEES - Tees will be assigned according to the following formula for male amateurs:

  • If the amateurs age plus his hcp index = 80.0 and he is 70 years old or older he is eligible to play from the Green Tees.
  • If the player’s age and hcp index equals 70.0 and up, he will play from the White tees
  • If the players age and hcp index equals 69.9 and below the player will play from the blue tees.
  • All ladies will play the red tees.

Professional Tees Men:

  • 66 years old and older play the White Tee’s
  • 50- 65 years of age play the Blue Tees
  • 49 and Younger play the Gold Tees

 

Professional Tee Women:

  • 50 years old and older play the Red Tees
  • 49 years old and younger play the White Tees

 

Handicaps

Men will use 90% of their course hcp and women will us 95% of their course hcp

Professionals will recieve strokes based on 3-5

Rule 3-5 is in effect

 

Suspension of Play Due to a Dangerous Situation (Note to Rule 6-8b)

When play is suspended by the Committee for a dangerous situation, if the players in a match or group are between the play of two holes, they must not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. If they are in the process of playing a hole, they must discontinue play immediately and not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. This information will be sent over the GPS screen.

 

Scorecards: Please check your scorecard for accuracy before turning your card into the committee. All cards must be properly signed.

 

Tournament Closed:

The event is closed when the committee has closed the event in the tournament software.
